Alison Bechdel’s Are You my Mother? is a graphic novel memoir sequel to her earlier Fun home: A Family Tragicomic (in the same genre). The New York Times gives the book a sumptuous review. The Entertainment Weekly Online gives it an A grade.  In case, I get around to reading the graphic novel, it would be my second foray into this genre, the first being Marjane Satrapi’s Persepolis.
